Making Galle City Plastic Waste Free

ජාත්‍යන්තර සංවර්ධනය සඳහා වන එක්සත් ජනපද නියෝජිතායතනයේ ( USAID) ආයතනයේ, නිකසල නගර- නිල් සාගර ( Clean Cities Blue Ocean)  වැඩසටහනේ අනුග්‍රහයෙන්, හෙල්ප්-ඕ ආයතනයේ සංවිධායකත්වයෙන්,ක්‍රියාවට නංවා ඇති ‘පිවිතුරු ගාලු නගරයක් සඳහා වන සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපෘතිය’ යටතේ, කසළ කළමනාකරණය විධිමත් කිරීම සඳහා තෝරාගත් ප්‍රජාවක් වන කරාපිටිය බොම්බේ කාසල් ප්‍රජාවේ කසළ කළමනාකරණ ගැටලු හඳුනාගැනීමේ වැඩසටහනක්, 2023.08.16 වන දින ගාල්ල හසාරා හෝටලයේදී පැවැත්විය. මේ සඳහා ගාල්ල මහා නගර සභාවේ ඝන අපද්‍රව්‍ය කළමනාකරණ අංශයේ නිලධාරීන්, හෙල්ප්- ඕ ආයතනයේ සභාපති තුමා, බොම්බේ කාසල් ප්‍රජා නියෝජිතයන් සහ හෙල්ප්-ඕ කාර්‍යමණ්ඩලයේ නිලධාරීන් සහභාගී විය.♻️

මෙහිදී පවතින කසළ කළමනාකරණ ගැටළු හඳුනාගත් අතර, එම ගැටළු ප්‍රමුඛතා ගතා කිරීමද සිදු කරන ලදි.

Regularization of waste management under the ‘Collaboration Project for a Clean Galle City’ implemented by the Help-O Institute under the auspices of the Clean Cities Blue Ocean Program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). A program to identify the waste management problems of Karapitiya Bombay Castle, a selected community, was held on 16.08.2023 at Galle Hasara Hotel. Officials of the solid waste management department of the Galle Municipal Council, the Chairman of Help-O Institute, Bombay Castle community representatives, and Help-O staff members participated to the program. ♻️

Here the existing waste management problems were identified and those problems were prioritized.
